This 4-hour workshop teaches participants on when and how to use the NEO Personality Inventory-3 (NEO-PI-3) in clinical, educational, and industrial settings. The first part provides an overview of the test, its background, underlying theory and principles, and psychometric properties. Learn how to compare and contrast the structure of the scales of the NEO-PI-3 from other tests. The second part covers the administration, analysis, scoring, and interpretation of the test. The last part of the workshop provides participants with hands-on exposure and peer feedbacking to interpret test protocols and generate a short write-up regarding making a psychological report using results from the NEO-PI-3.
At the end of this 4-hour workshop, participants can expect to:
- Describe the rationale, underlying principles, and purpose and use of the NEO-PI-3
- Explain the structure of the scales of the NEO-PI-3
- Practice interpreting at least two (2) NEO-PI-3 test protocols
- Write a few lines of the psycological report using the NEO-PI-3 results
