PSAS 2020 - Session 5: Using the Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI)

PsychConsult, Inc. invites you to the webinar Using the Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI), the fifth webinar in the PSAS 2020 Webinar Series!

Developed by Leslie C. Morey in 1991, the Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI) aims to measure major considerations when dealing with clients who may present with signs of psychopathology that are frequently seen in clinical settings.  This American-made tool has validity measures and clinical scales with relevant subscales.  Often used in both screening and in-depth assessments, the 344-item tool also measures factors associated with treatment considerations and interpersonal styles.

The seminar starts with a brief history of the tool, and the various scales that it contains.  The discussion is anchored on its potential use among Filipino clients.  Participants deepen their knowledge in the use of the tool with an exercise in interpreting two sample protocols and demonstrating how a psychological report may be written based on these results.
