Ang Mapa ng Loob, binuo noong 2011-2013 sa Personality Research Laboratory ng Unibersidad ng Pilipinas Diliman, ay may 188 na item na sumusukat sa apat na facets para sa bawat isa sa limang domains ng FFM (Neuroticism, Extraversion, Openness to Experience, Agreeableness, at Conscientiousness), dalawang interstitial scales, at isang Social Desirability scale.
Batay sa normative sample ng mga estudyante sa kolehiyo (N=384), ang mga facet ay may reliability na .65 - .81, at nagpapangkat-pangkat, sa isang Principal Component Analysis, nang naayon sa inaasahang istrukutra ng FFM. Ang validity ng lahat ng mga iskala ay may suporta mula sa mga pag-aaral ng mga indibidwal na iskala o ng buong imbentaryo, kasama na ang pag-aaral kung saan siniyasat ang ugnayan ng Mapa ng Loob at ng Personality Inventory for the DSM-5 (PID-5).
Ang Mapa ay mabibili sa isang kit na may laman na 25 na test buklet, limampung talaan ng mga sagot at limampung ulat ng mga resulta, o bilang palatanungan na sasagutan online.
