Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: Basic Training

Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is an evidence-based treatment model and systematic approach in dealing with children and adolescents' psychological trauma. The 14-hour basic training provides an overview of TF-CBT and its core components and exceeds standards for certification in the United States. It also includes identifying appropriate candidates for TF-CBT and illustrations of its use through a case presentation and technical demonstrations and train attendants in practical TF-CBT interventions. At the end of the basic training, clinicians will be equipped to provide Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. The registration fee includes 12 hours of online consultation with a certified TF-CBT trainer. The online consultation meetings will take place once a month for 12 months.
